Welcome to our about page!  We are twin sisters from the wonderful state of Michigan. We enjoy raising and caring for our backyard flock of twenty hens. (Plus two roosters, so that would make it twenty-two.)  We are both in 4-H and show and exhibit chickens in our local county fair every year. Our plan for next year is to show chickens at MI State Fair. We both like to bake and will regularly post some of our delicious recipes on the blog. Most of our recipes are grain-free and tree nut free. (We do put some egg and dairy free recipes on here too.) Both of us really enjoy being outside in God’s creation. Photography is a fun hobby for both of us as well.

Hi there, thanks for visiting our blog! My twin sister and I share the fun responsibility for posting on this blog. Some (cool) things about me include; I  participate in 4-H and enjoy raising my backyard flock of chickens. I am also a member of the EAA and a student pilot. Hobby’s include photography, of which I enjoy taking pictures of nature and flowers using a Nikon D-50 camera, reading, and creating verse images on my computer. I enjoy putting my love for God’s Word into beautiful images that I can use for future reference.  For fun and recreation I like trail running, biking, playing capture the flag (or any other running-related games) and hanging out with friends.

What’s your favorite animal? Chickens, definitely!

Where’s your favorite place to visit? That’s tough, but I would have to say Wyoming.

What’s one of your favorite hobby’s? I love photography and especially enjoy photographing birds and food.

What’s one thing you really want to do in the next few years?  I am saving up to swim with the whale sharks at the Georgia Aquarium.
