This week I have been experimenting with photography. I love taking pictures of food and have decided to expand my experiences. I was able to find a few props around the house and have enjoyed experimenting with them. Here are some results:
I could not post this delicious picture without giving you the recipe, so here it is:
1/2 cup of coconut flour
1/2 cup filled with 1 tablespoon of ground flax seeds, 1 1/2 tablespoons of coconut flour and the rest tapioca flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 cup of honey
2 tablespoons of butter
1/2 cup of coconut milk
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Generously grease 2 donut pans with butter. Combine the dry ingredients. In a separate dish combine the wet ingredients. Add the wet ingredients to the dry. Spoon the batter into the pans. Fill them 2/3 the way full. I got 9 donuts. Bake for 12-13 minutes until nicely brown. Cool for 1-2 minutes and carefully remove. I frosted my donuts with chocolate:
1/2 cup of chocolate chips
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in sauce pan. Carefully spread on donuts.
These sandwiches were made with the cookie recipe mentioned in a post named ‘kitchen experiments’ and filled with a butter, vanilla, and sugar frosting.
We made these for Saturday’s breakfast! Yum!
Along with all the food pictures taken this week, I have also taken pictures of my Schleich animals. Here are a few:
That about sums up this week. I am excited about continuing in photography and sharing my photos!
